IBIS hold mailing and emailing contact information for a range of potential purchases of books and journals within the education and library market.
Academics
Each academic contact has been researched thoroughly by our research team and ascribed a number of subject area codes that relate specifically to their teaching and/or research responsibilities.
We hold information on Head of Department and/or Lecturers within each faculty and department.

Librarians
Libraries held on the IBIS database cover the central, faculty and departmental libraries from across each institute. Some larger faculties and departments will have their own bespoke subject library, some smaller ones may not. These library contacts are ‘mailing only’ and are sent to ‘The Librarian’, as most departmental or faculty libraries will not employ a full time named librarian even though they have a library.
In addition to this, we hold an increasing number of ‘named librarian’ contacts at central university library level. These are named contacts at Head Librarian level or subject collection/departmental level within the main library. As these are named contacts, both mailing and emailing data is available.
